For 15 years I have been photographing Liverpool and Merseyside, taking great pride in showing off my home city in a different light. My approach is simple: to Wait, Watch and Capture scenes as they unfold. This technique takes patience, but for me it always pays off. Like the act of taking a photograph itself, I have waited for the right time to push my work forward into a commercial realm now that Liverpool is becoming the perfect showcase for art and culture once again.
I enjoy using my photography to dispel the negative myths that have been associated with Liverpool in the past. I take pleasure from photographing the great parts of the city and helping to put false stereotypes to bed, letting the images tell the true story. Over the time I have been taking pictures in Liverpool I have seen the city’s pride being restored, leading to a more confident and artistically vibrant environment to work in.
I have taken thousands of images down the years, now is the right time to put them on the market for all to enjoy. There is a niche for original and honest Liverpool photography that my work fits neatly into. I intend to sell my work to both corporate clients who want to add identity and atmosphere to the work place and to individual art-loving private customers. I will be selling my work either as specially commissioned tailored packages or selling sole images from my extensive library of work.
